The € 12,500 NICOLAI EBOXX GT1 with Explorer Kit is a radical eSUV that combines prestige and performance while inspiring huge amounts of confidence, both on tarmac and demanding off-road terrain. With its industrial look and flat-scaled weld seams, the EBOXX GT1 is distinctly recognizable as a NICOLAI. All production steps are carried out in-house at the company’s headquarters in Lower Saxony and the bikes impress with the highest quality workmanship.

NICOLAI’s online configurator offers a wide selection of finishes and exotic components, allowing all individualists to customise their bikes down to the smallest detail. For the suspension, the Germans rely on high-end eMTB components, combining a 160 mm FOX 38 GRIP2 fork and EXT E-STORIA LOK shock, which packs away not only potholes and kerbs in the city but also nastier chunk on fire roads and trails.

NICOLAI’s online offers countless customisation options for both the finish and spec and includes several exotic high-end eMTB components.
Thanks to the low-maintenance belt drive, the chain lube bottle in your bike cave becomes just another dust catcher. Moreover, the Rohloff SPEEDHUB drivetrain allows for shifting at standstill.
The optional Explorer Kit sensibly expands the range of applications of the NICOLAI. However, under the Indy’s attire hides a potent eMTB.

The electronic Rohloff SPEEDHUB drivetrain allows for shifting at standstill and relies on a low-maintenance belt drive, making the chain lube bottle in your bike shed just another dust catcher. The powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor draws its power from a 625 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery while the Bosch Nyon display with integrated navigation function leads the way on long tours and enables range-based route planning. Like the rest of the specs, the Explorer Kit can be selected from NICOLAI’s configurator and significantly expands the range of applications of the EBOXX GT1 – if only Indy knew about it! The mudguards, Supernova M99 MINI headlight and E3 tail light as well as the lock, 25 kg pannier rack and matching ORTLIEB panniers have you covered for all kinds of adventures, both within and beyond the city limits. Remove the Explorer Kit, and the EBOXX GT1 eMTB becomes a rowdy trail ripper.
