The Giant Stance E+
With the Stance E+, Giant wants to ease the entry into the world of full-suspension eMTBs. The most affordable of the 130/120 mm (f/r) travel eMTBs costs just under € 3,100 and promises to perform on trails and in everyday life with its rack and stand compatibility.
Giant relies on the SyncDrive Sport motor for the Stance E+. It delivers 80 Nm of torque and supports the rider by up to 350 %. Compared to the high-end SyncDrive Pro, the Sport version responds much slower to the rider’s input. The motor is powered by the internal 500 Wh EnergyPak. The € 3,099 entry-level Giant Stance E+ 2, however, comes with a smaller 400 Wh battery.
The very compact geometry of the Stance E+ should make for a very agile and playful ride. Beginners, in particular, will appreciate the easy handling, having a lot of fun at lower speeds. The Stance E+ is not designed for high speeds and rough terrain, lacking in composure and, above all, a good chain guide.
