Product updates instead of innovations. CUBE present their latest ebikes and eMTBs for the 2021 season. You won’t find a new frame, but the bikes from Bavaria continue to deliver with great spec at a fair price. We’ve compiled an overview of the most exciting models with all the information for you here.

CUBE Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Bosch 10th Anniversary 29

CUBE Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Bosch 10th Anniversary 29 | 150/140 mm | Weight: n/a | € 10,000

The first bike to catch your eye when entering CUBE’s showroom is the limited edition Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC of which there are only 199 bikes. A matt black frame up to the height of the shock and rainbow colours from there on up. The colour scheme certainly won’t be to everyone’s taste, but the componentry is beyond any doubt. The frame corresponds to the 2020 model: the front triangle is made of carbon fibre and the rear end is made of aluminium. The 150 mm travel RockShox Pike Ultimate fork and the Super Deluxe Ultimate shock are responsible for riding comfort. The wireless SRAM X01 Eagle AXS 12-speed drivetrain in conjunction with the SRAM G2 Ultimate brakes, the 85 Nm Bosch Performance CX motor and 625 Wh battery ensure a carefree experience on the trails. Price? € 10,000 on the dot. Do you want to secure yourself one of these limited bikes? Then you’ll have to act quick and hope that your local dealer has it in stock. The limited edition bikes will be randomly allotted to participating dealers, and they probably won’t occupy the shop window for long.

If you want one, you’ll have to act quick. The special edition is limited to 199 bikes.

For 2021, the flagship model in the Stereo Hybrid 140 range comes specced with FOX instead of RockShox suspension, giving you 10 mm more travel and promising to set new standards in terms of performance and technology. In addition to the Bosch Nyon display and the 150 mm travel FOX 36 FLOAT Factory FIT GRIP2 fork, the eMTB also relies on a FOX FLOAT DPX2 Factory EVOL shock, a wireless SRAM X01 Eagle AXS drivetrain and carbon wheels from NEWMEN. Like the flagship model, the HPC SLT, the HPC Actionteam comes with 150 mm travel FOX suspension, but the FOX 36 FLOAT Factory FIT fork features the FIT4 damper instead of the GRIP2. If you don’t need the high-priced SRAM X01 Eagle AXS drivetrain, you can save € 2,000 with the Actionteam model compared to the HPC SLT, giving you the mechanical Shimano XT groupset with Shimano XT four-piston brakes.

CUBE Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC SL

CUBE Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC SL | 150/140 mm | 24.8 kg in 18″ (manufacturer’s specs) | € 4.499

Like the flagship models, the HPC SL comes equipped with a Bosch Performance CX motor offering 85 Nm torque. With its beautiful paint job, you also get a carbon main frame paired with an aluminium rear end, but you’ll have to make do without the high-performance suspension. The HPC SL comes with a 140 mm travel FOX 34 Rhythm fork and a FOX FLOAT DPS EVOL shock. Like the other Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC four-bar linkage bikes, it rolls on 27.5″ wheels in size XS and on large 29″ wheels in sizes S to L. In addition to the Shimano XT drivetrain, you also get Shimano XT four-piston brakes.
