The new BULLS product range has been expanded significantly for 2020. We’ve got an overview of all the latest information on the most important news for 2020 from BULLS to keep you up to date:

BULLS have been hard at work and presented their latest innovations for 2020 at their in-house exhibition. Among them are their full carbon step-through bike, the first full-suspension 29″ eMTB with a Sachs motor and a 650 Wh battery, and the new SONIC model series based on the 2020 Bosch Performance Line CX motor. Below, you will find a short description of the most important bikes, as well as the specs of the flagship and entry-level models.

For a detailed look at the evolution of the new BULLS SONIC range, check out our exclusive review of the SONIC EVO AM 6 Carbon.

BULLS SONIC EN

BULLS SONIC EN is the most aggressive eMTB range in their current product portfolio. With 180 mm travel at the rear, the new Bosch Performance Line CX moto, a 625 Wh battery and mixed wheel sizes – 29″ up front and 27.5″ + at the rear – the EN models are aimed trail riders. The SONIC EVO EN 2 with a 180 mm RockShox Lyrik Select, a Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain and high-quality DT Swiss H1900 wheels is the flagship model of the range, coming in at € 5,399. For € 4,599, the SONIC EVO EN 1 is specced with a 170 mm travel SR Suntour Durolux 36 fork. The more affordable version also features the new Bosch motor, a 12-speed Shimano XT drivetrain and Schwalbe’s Magic Mary and Hans Dampf tires. People with particularly short or very long limbs will have to pay careful attention to the frame size before buying since both models are only available in M or L.

BULLS SONIC AM

In contrast to the SONIC EN, the AM eMTB range from BULLS comes with 150 mm travel at the front and rear. The only exception is the entry-level model, which has 140 mm of front and rear travel. Aside from having less travel, the models of the AM range still feature the Performance Line CX motor and powerful 4-piston brakes. You’ll only find the Bosch KIOX display on the two most expensive models. The remaining models are specced with the compact Purion display. We’re stoked to see that every SONIC AM in the range comes with a 12-speed drivetrain and is available in at least four frame sizes, five in the two aluminium models, with prices starting at € 3,499 and € 3,799 for the BULLS SONIC EVO AM 2, respectively. Every model in the range also has a dropper seat post. Leading the charge of the EVO AM eMTB range is the BULLS SONIC EVO AM 6 Carbon for € 6,999. For that, you get a RockShox Lyrik Ultimate RCT3 fork with a matching RockShox Super Deluxe RT Select+ shock. As the name implies, the flagship model comes with a carbon fibre frame, although, to be fair the rear triangle is made of aluminium – carbon/aluminium is just too long for a model name ;). Shifting is done wirelessly with the high-end SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS 12-speed drivetrain. The DT Swiss HX1501 wheels, Magura MT7 brakes and the 8PINS dropper post round off the flagship model sensibly. Sure, € 7,000 is anything but a bargain, but it seems quite fair considering the spec. The BULLS SONIC EVO AM 1 is the entry-level model of the SONIC AM range. For € 2,500 less you get an aluminium frame with a SRAM SX Eagle drivetrain, Shimano BR-MT420 brakes and SR Suntour suspension.

BULLS E-RUSH EVO AM

With the BULLS E-Rush EVO AM, the industry giant is launching the first production eMTB featuring the SACH RS motor (we already had a chance to ride the SACHS RS. To read the review, click here). With a total of two models for € 4,499 and € 4,999 respectively, BULLS is offering two 140 mm travel full-suspension bikes made from aluminium. Both models come with a 650 Wh battery, which BULLS claim can be charged from 0 to 100% in 5.5 hours. The handlebar remote is an old acquaintance from various Brose equipped bikes and comes from Bloks with the 14d display. Both models roll on 2.35″ wide 29″ Schwalbe Fat Albert tires. As with the BULLS SONIC EN, the E-RUSH is only available in two frame sizes: 44 cm and 49 cm. The € 4,499 E-Rush EVO AM1 is the entry-level Sachs model. The suspension is supplied by FOX and consists of a Rhythm Float 34 fork and a FOX Float DPS shock. Magura supplies the four-piston MT5 brake at the front and the two-piston MT4 at the rear. The wheels are house brand components. For € 500 more, the EVO AM2 features a FOX Performance Float 34 fork and a Float DPS shock at the rear. The flagship model comes with Magura’s MT5 brakes front and rear and a high-quality SRAM X01 Eagle 12 speed drivetrain – you’ll also have the wide gear range on the more affordable model, by the way 😉

BULLS ADVENTURE EVO TR 45 ABS S-Pedelec

BULLS ADVENTURE EVO TR 45 ABS | Bosch Performance Line Speed/625 Wh | 120/120 mm (f/r) | – kg | € 6.499

Who is this bike for? Clearly, this bike is aimed at the adventurers among us. With 120 mm of travel and a total of 900 Wh, thanks to the additional battery, the ADVENTURE EVO is prepared to take on anything. The new Bosch Performance Line Speed should deliver the necessary power to tackle steep climbs or natural terrain off the beaten path, and with the Shimano XT 12-speed drivetrain, you’ll have all the gears you need. The KIOX display is there to provide you with all the important information. Thanks to the rack on the EVO TR 45 you can take along your tent and dinner too, allowing you to carry panniers with a maximum weight of 25 kg. The 45 in the name hints at the 45 km/h support, but what is that about ABS? The abbreviation is for a completely new anti-lock braking system from BluBrake, developed in cooperation with Tektro and BULLS so that emergency braking on loose ground doesn’t lead to you losing your teeth. Since this is an S-Pedelec, you’ll also find all the important road safety attachments by Busch + Müller, such as head and taillights, a rearview mirror and a kind of hooter, which doesn’t hoot but makes crazy loud whistling noise instead. To our delight, the ADVENTURE EVO TR is specced with a dropper post – essential if you ask us! To make adventure accessible to everyone, the S-Pedelec comes in four sizes from 44 cm to 54 cm. With regards to price, the BULLS ADVENTURE EVO TR 45 ABS can be all yours for € 6,499.

BULLS CROSS LITE EVO

BULLS CROSS LITE EVO

Step-throughs are uncool, they said. Step-throughs are ugly, they said. This is true only so long as the step-through isn’t made entirely of carbon fibre – that’s damn cool. Equipped with everything that the CEO, fashion designer or baker with a good sense of style needs for their day-to-day commute, the CROSS LITE EVO looks pretty damn good. The closed chain guard keeps the greasy chain separate from your freshly ironed trousers while the mudguards keep your snazzy Louis Vitton rain suit clean, and the rack is perfect for carrying your weekly shopping after you’ve finished the night shift at the bakery. Furthermore, it comes with lights front and rear and you can attach a Fidlok bottle or other Monkey Link accessories to the down tube. The ABS from BluBrake gives you braking control even on slippery roads and the CROSS LITE is powered by the new Performance Line CX – women need power too 😉
