All-new 2021 Thok MIG 2.0 and THOK TK01 announced
Italian brand THOK have just announced two new models for 2021. The THOK MIG 2.0 is claimed to be an entry-level eMTB, while the very limited edition THOK TK01 (limited to just 35 models) is a long-travel enduro bike for hardcore fans of the brand. The THOK MIG 2.0 2021
An evolution of the MIG (the first e-MTB launched by THOK) whose bold styling was designed by Aldo Drudi, the MIG 2.0 shares all the unique features of the previous MIG line-up with the integration of new solutions. The aluminium frame is designed around the “THOK CONTROL GEOMETRY”, characterised by a stretched top tube, a 66° head angle and a seat tube angle of 74.7°. MIG 2.0 maintains the semi-integrated battery of the previous MIG and has 150 mm suspension travel up front, and 140 mm at the back. It is claimed to be an eMTB for those who love long tours and seek a light and reliable bike.

The MIG’s characteristic battery cover has been updated for the 2.0 version: made of polypropylene, it has a fastening system with a quick-release screw. This cover also enables recharging while the battery is mounted on the frame. The new THOK MIG 2.0 is available in sizes S, M, L, and XL. It can be purchased online at thokebikes.com or from authorized dealers and is already for sale at the price of € 3,850.
THOK TK01 LTD
TK01 makes its debut in the Limited-Edition version: no more than 35 pieces will be produced. Each TK01 will be personalized with the owner’s name and painted and assembled in Italy with a “Matt Glossy Black” finish and signed by Aldo Drudi, the award-winning Italian designer behind the original helmets worn by Valentino Rossi and many MotoGP riders. The TK01 is an enduro eMTB that is totally different from the well-known MIG line.

The TK01 Limited Edition is the “race-ready” e-enduro fitted with high-end components such as the new 180 mm ÖHLINS RXF38 fork, ÖHLINS TTX Air shock, 12-speed SRAM X01 transmission, Shimano Saint 4-piston brakes and a Race Face carbon handlebar. It is built around the Shimano E8000 motor with an integrated 630Wh battery. The TK01 Limited Edition is fitted with a battery and motor cover made from lightweight, shock-resistant carbon. There are also two easily detachable polypropylene fins which, as well as serving the purpose of mudguards, facilitate battery cooling.

Our thoughts on the new THOK MIG 2.0 and TK01 models
The new THOK MIG 2.0 and THOK TK01 LTD models will likely go down well with the Italian brand’s cult-like fans. While we can’t confirm any of THOK’s bold claims at the moment, we look forward to testing these new eMTBs and finding out if their performance can match their flashy paint jobs and steep prices.
