The RockShox RS-1 packs more innovation than you would think at first sight. The high-end inverted carbon fibre construction really puts this innovative production product in an exclusive category all of its own. With a competitive weight and outstanding trail performance, this fork (available in travel options from 80-120mm) really knows how to win hearts. Both the technical and visual integration of the fork into the whole bike ‘concept’ are ground breaking. The futuristic and elegant design fits perfectly with the front end of modern high-end composite frames. The age-old problem of rigidity with inverted suspension forks is countered effectively by the voluminous Torque Tube axle design and matching front hub. “Thinking outside the box” – we love it!
