E-MOUNTAINBIKE Readers’ Survey 2017 – These are the winners

In our annual reader survey, we asked you for your wildest thoughts, your irritations and your ideas – and more than 8,100 of you participated – thank you! By taking our survey and helping us to make E-MOUNTAINBIKE Magazine even better, you had the chance to win a FOCUS JAM² FACTORY, a Moustache Samedi 27 Trail 9, a Thömus Lightrider E1 and the Thule EasyFold XT 3. These are the lucky winners:

Congrats to Andreas from Germany, this is your prize!

FOCUS JAM² FACTORY

Don’t be alarmed if you find yourself wondering if this is even an E-MTB! The FOCUS JAM² with its Shimano STEPS motor is so slim and subtle that it isn’t immediately clocked as an e-bike. This sleek design works in favour of its super low weight too, which in turn generates a superb handling package. With a Factory spec it retails at €5,499 and sports RockShox suspension, SRAM NX gearing, MAGURA MT5 brakes and high-end DT Swiss wheels. For more details on this bike, head to our review of the FOCUS JAM² FACTORY.

Congrats to Stefan from Italy, this is your prize!

Moustache Samedi 27 Trail 9

Moustache have given their key players a serious overhaul for 2017. They’ve launched the ‘Hidden Power’ concept, which is a fairly novel and sophisticated way to integrate the tried-and-tested Bosch CX motor. The Samedi 27 Trail has 140 mm of travel and promises the ultimate balance of up and downhill credentials. Its spec shows great consideration and is certainly no wallflower. For the latest on the current Moustache bikes, this article is where you’ll find all the information.

Congrats to Matthias from Germany, this is your prize!

Thömus Lightrider E1

With the Lightrider E1, the Swiss bike brand Thömus have dropped a covet-worthy E-MTB, which blew us away while on test with its super-agile and direct handling. Its carbon frame and oh-so-nice and exclusive spec lend themselves to a low overall weight and will certainly be met with an approving nod by every rider you meet. Head here to read our review of the Thömus Lightrider E1.

Congrats to Markus from Germany, this is your prize!

Thule EasyFold XT 3

The Thule EasyFold XT rear carrier does exactly what its name promises. Thanks to its clever folding mechanism, this well-constructed carrier is a doddle to fold up and stow away while not in use. Either stored in your cellar or the garage, the Thule EasyFold is one the simplest carriers around, saving precious time and delaying the early onset of grey hairs! As such, it is no surprise that it won the coveted Design & Innovation Award 2017.

All winners have been informed by email and replied already, so if you happen to share the name but haven’t had any contact with us, it’s not you, sorry.
