DIAMONDBACK, a name that longterm mountain biking enthusiasts will remember fondly, is back and they’re got something completely different on offer – welcome the 2017 DIAMONDBACK E-MTB range. Find all the information below:

The Diamondback Corax features the new PURION display from BOSCH as well as 140mm of RockShox suspension and 27.5+ wheels - and starting at € 3870 (£2,900).

With years of mountain bike manufacturing experience, DIAMONDBACK have been instrumental in the growth of mountain biking for nearly 40 years. Their ‘Ridge Runner’ bike was the first production mountain bike in the world, sharing the title with the Specialized Stumpy. They’ve had their fingers in almost every mountain biking pie available from Downhill World champs to Olympic XC and now, they add e-bikes to the list.

The new MY17 DIAMONDBACK E-MTB’s have been designed specifically for the European market and will also be assembled in Europe, ready to hit the mountains and valleys of the old world.

Diamondback bring us the CORAX, a full suspension rig with 140 mm of travel and the CORVUS, a hardtail with 100 mm up front. Both bikes offer some great componentry for the money, designed for people who want to hit the trails, not just cruise to the shops (although that would be mad fun we expect).

The Diamondback Corvus features the new PURION display from BOSCH as well as 100 mm forks and 27.5+ wheels - starting at £2,100/2,800€

All models feature 27+ wheels, running on WTB RANGER 2.8” tyres & WTB i40 scraper rims and SHIMAMO SLX or XT 11 speed gearing.

The CORAX and CORVUS also feature the new PURION Display from BOSCH, and BOSCH CX performance motors. This display has been developed with mountain bikers in mind, condensing the screen and bar controls into one unit which sits by your left-hand grip. The small display lessens the chance of damaging it in a crash and keeps the cockpit looking much neater.

The range will be hitting the market in Late September and will be available at DIAMONDBACK dealerships or via the website to ’click and collect’. www.diamondback.co.uk
