Reverse Components

The Reverse Components E-Series is unmistakably designed specifically for e-mountain bikes.

E-MTB components need to be designed to withstand E-MTB specific loads. These have to be tested and certified accordingly so that dealers can recommend and exchange them without worry about possible lawsuits. Reverse Components kept this in mind with the E-Series as the first component manufacturer to offer a series of parts specially designed for the stresses placed on E-MTB’s.
Together with the EFBE – a German testing laboratory – special test standards have been developed that exceed the requirements of the previously prescribed ISO standards and are specifically designed for E-MTBs.

In the new E-series is prepared for a wide range of applications: be it long travel E-MTBs…
…or more touring- and comfort-oriented bikes.

The E-Series consists of handlebars, stems, seatposts, pedals, grips, cranks, and brake pads – a wheel set is in the pipe lines as well. Reverse Components did a lot of tinkering especially on the handlebars, developing a new method of butting to achieve a significantly higher strength to weight ratio. The E-Element Bar will be available in almost all common sizes and shapes – 28 variants to be exact.

In addition to handlebars and stems, the E Series also includes special grips, pedals, seat posts, and cranks.
An e-mountain bike specific wheel set is also planned.

The stem is available as an E-XC version in 10-mm steps from 60 to 100 mm and is designed for more comfort-oriented bikes. The E-Black One is designed to be available in 35 or 50 mm – each with a 31.8 or 35 mm clamp. The E-Escape pedals are reinforced at potential ground contact points; the end caps of the E-Seismic silicone grips, available in two diameters, as well as the E-Force seat post, are built tougher than usual. The E series also features special brake pads for Magura and Shimano discs brakes as well as for Magura’s HS 33 rim brakes, which have more kevlar in their compound for increased heat-resistance and durability.
