Pssst – we’re actually not supposed to tell you about this yet. But we can turn it into a conversation – and you can piece the rest together yourself… but let’s take it one step at a time.
We’ve just returned from our big E-MOUNTAINBIKE comparison test – the biggest in the bike world – where we secretly tested several bikes that won’t be released for months. Not only did we gain tons of new insights, but we also realised one thing: the eMTB world is changing faster than ever. Disruptive new players, groundbreaking technologies, and technical innovations are redefining how and what we ride. And that includes you!

Tell bike- and motor-manufacturers what you really want – and what you don’t!
Every day, engineers, product managers, and developers spend countless hours refining eMTB concepts, analysing data, testing prototypes, and pushing new innovations. But what’s the point of progress if it totally misses your needs – or overshoots them entirely?
Why, for example, can’t a good app be simple and user-friendly instead of feeling like a space-ship control system? Sure, eMTBs are getting more advanced, but not necessarily better. It’s time for a change.
That’s why, with our E-MOUNTAINBIKE Think Tank, we’re bringing together the brightest minds in the industry – an exciting gathering that gives shape to the ideas for the next generation of eMTBs. But one crucial voice is still missing: yours!
Back in 2016, our first Think Tank laid the groundwork for solving some of the biggest challenges and trends in the (eMTB) scene. Today, we’re facing even more important questions – and we’re putting them at the heart of our next Think Tank. This is where you come in!

Now it’s your turn: Make your eMTB better!
As much as manufacturers focus on product development, at the end of the day, it’s you that have the power. The power to decide. With your wallet when making a purchase, with your needs on the trail, and with your trust in a brand or product category in the future.
Now you have the chance to share your ideas and thoughts directly with the industry – and help shape the future of e-mountainbiking! Take part in our survey and tell us what you really want.

The (eMTB) future is being decided right now – and we need you!
The potential and technological outlook for eMTBs have never been bigger, and the competition among motor manufacturers has never been fiercer. This means that things are moving fast – but in which direction? Here are some key questions that both the bike industry and we are asking – what’s your take?
- How smart does a modern eMTB really have to be – and how many features are you paying for but never using?
- Charging time vs. range – do we need to rethink the entire battery debate?
- How much motor power and torque do you really need – or is it all about the Eco mode in the end?
- Which features actually make sense – and which one are just expensive gimmicks?

Your voice matters – and it goes straight to decision-makers
We’ll be discussing selected data from the survey during the Think Tank together with the leading decision-makers in the eMTB world – meaning your input has a direct impact!
Put simply: your opinion counts. It will help decide which features will be further developed in the future and which will remain just marketing buzz. So, what makes your perfect e-mountainbike? Which features would you use or buy – and which ones wouldn’t you?
This is your chance: Take part in the survey and tell us what really matters to you.

Your opinion counts! Help shape the future of eMTBs!
Your direct line to the eMTB industry: by taking part in our survey, you can send your ideas, wishes, and visions straight to the people that make the decisions in the eMTB world.
We’re looking forward to your valuable insights and can’t wait to hear your feedback!
