Rolex or bike? Few riders will ever face that question – but with the S-Works Turbo Levo 4 LTD, Specialized is putting it right on the table. For the same price you could get a Rolex Daytona, or this strictly limited E-MTB. Exclusive parts, high-end specs – and, according to the manufacturer, an extra 320 grams of weight.

Generation Up-Side-Down: With the S-Works Turbo Levo 4 LTD, Specialized isn’t just setting a new price benchmark, they’re also jumping on the upside-down trend that’s emerging after FOX unveiled its first inverted fork. The LTD comes loaded with exclusive details: titanium cranks from Cane Creek, the powerhouse Trickstuff MAXIMA brakes with massive 223 mm rotors front and rear, and the new FOX Transfer NEO – which, to be fair, also appears on the “cheaper” S-Works version at € 14,499. Rounding out the package are Roval Traverse HD wheels, this time laced to Industry Nine Hydra 2 hubs instead of DT Swiss 240s. According to Specialized, the LTD tips the scales around 320 g heavier. Sure, with e-MTBs it’s not about counting every gram – but when you’re paying an extra € 5,500, you look closely. Especially at the limited paint job.
