YT unveiled the new DECOY X with the DJI-powered Avinox M2S drive system when the motor first launched. Just in time for summer, the brand are now adding new spec variants to the line-up, aiming to deliver maximum performance at an attractive price point. Here’s everything you need to know about the new YT DECOY X CORE models.

YT are expanding the DECOY X family with four new CORE models, bringing the Avinox M2S drive system into far more affordable territory. All models share the same aluminium frame, MX wheel setup with 170 mm travel up front and 160 mm at the rear, plus the new Avinox M2S motor delivering a massive 150 Nm of torque and up to 1,300 watts peak power. Every size from S to XXL also comes equipped with an 800 Wh battery.

In terms of geometry, the new DECOY X closely follows the already familiar DECOY SN and stays true to its mission: maximum trail and bike park performance rather than watered-down lightweight eMTB compromises. Extensive frame protection and the robust aluminium construction are designed to withstand heavy hits and rough trails for the long haul.

Priced at € 6,499, the CORE 3 relies on high-end RockShox technology, featuring a ZEB Ultimate fork and Vivid Ultimate shock. The setup is complemented by a SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission drivetrain and SRAM MAVEN Silver brakes. DT Swiss HX 1700 wheels with DF technology designed to reduce pedal kickback are intended to provide even greater composure on rough terrain.

With prices starting at € 4,499, YT currently offer one of the most aggressive overall packages built around the new Avinox M2S drive system. Above all, the combination of huge motor power, a large battery and gravity-focused spec makes the new DECOY X CORE range particularly exciting for anyone looking for a no-compromise full-power eMTB without immediately stepping into five-figure territory.

Availability

The new YT DECOY X CORE models are available to pre-order now in Europe and the UK. The US launch is expected to follow later this summer.
The previously unveiled Launch Edition with the FOX Podium fork will remain in the line-up as the top-tier model, aimed at riders seeking uncompromising high performance.
