UNNO and DJI? The Spanish Boutique Bike Brand Fuels Speculation! Early Instagram posts offer a promising glimpse at their latest E-MTB. Sleek design, intriguing details – what’s behind it all?

A New UNNO E-MTB with DJI Avinox Drive System?
UNNO is making waves: the Spanish bike brand recently shared a reel on their Instagram channel, showcasing details of their new E-MTB. The shots of the downtube and motor area immediately catch the eye. Our take? Extremely sleek! But which motor system are they using?
A follow-up Instagram post sheds light on the mystery: a riding POV reveals a touch display seamlessly integrated into the top tube. The display design looks familiar, strongly resembling DJI’s signature style. Additionally, there’s a wireless dual-remote control, a hallmark of DJI’s technology.
All signs point to UNNO’s new E-MTB being equipped with the DJI Avinox M1 Drive System – crowned as the winner in our motor comparison test. With spy shots already circulating of North American bike brand Forbidden using DJI systems, UNNO is now joining the fray. It’s clear: it’s only a matter of time before the DJI Avinox system finds its way into bikes beyond the AMFLOW PL Carbon Pro. But how soon?

Based in Barcelona, UNNO was founded by Cesar Rojo, a former downhill pro and the mastermind behind CERO Designs, a renowned design studio collaborating with major bike brands like Mondraker and Intense. Rojo brings extensive experience in cycling and motocross design, combining expertise with bold creativity to craft bikes that are anything but ordinary.
Known for their radical designs and innovation, UNNO currently offers two E-MTBs: the UNNO Mith with a Bosch CX motor and the UNNO Ikki with a TQ motor. This makes their new model all the more exciting.
In the Instagram comments, UNNO remains coy about the motor system, responding only with a “🤫”. Whether they’re buying time or building suspense remains unclear.
