Besides their current bikes, Nox also had their new Hybrid 5.9 Mag S All Mountain Prototype at the Bike Festival in Riva. Featuring a Brose Drive S Mag motor, revised geometry and further details that we’re not yet allowed to reveal.

The NOX Hybrid 5.9 Mag S All Mountain has shaved off a whopping 2 kg for 2020, the flagship model weighing around 24 kg – with a 630 Wh battery.

Although the season has only just begun, NOX is already presenting next year’s successor. For 2020, the NOX Hybrid 5.9 Mag S All Mountain will come with the new Brose Drive S Mag motor as well as a new 630 Wh battery. Unfortunately, we can’t yet go into detail about the new battery.

We’re not yet allowed to reveal the details of the new battery featured in the NOX. We’ll have to wait for the official presentation at Eurobike.

NOX have redesigned the geometry and shape of the frame. Thanks to the new motor, a modified motor mount and modified tubes, the new NOX is a whopping 2 kg lighter than the current model. The bike can still be ridden with either 27.5″ or 29″ wheels: to accommodate the different wheel sizes, the chainstay length can be adjusted at the dropouts, and there is a second flip-chip at the shock mount.

Thanks to a redesigned motor mount, among other things, NOX were able to reduce the bike’s weight by 2 kg.
