If you want a secure parking solution for your bike but don’t want to mount a kickstand, you’ll need an alternative. One option is the Feedback Sports RAKK 2.0 E – a standalone bike stand that promises to hold bikes securely and effortlessly, even heavier e-bikes. But does it really deliver on that promise?

Coming home from a ride or work, rolling your bike into the stand, and calling it a day – it could be that simple. But often, that’s exactly where the struggle begins: where and how can you park your bike securely? That’s precisely where the Feedback Sports RAKK 2.0 E comes in. We tested whether it’s worth spending the € 69.

Feedback Sports specialise in bike storage and repair stands. The RAKK 2.0 E falls into the first category, and is designed to hold your bike securely on either the front or rear wheel. A big plus: the stand’s construction prevents any damage to the rim or spokes. According to the manufacturer, the powder-coated steel frame ensures excellent durability and a long service life. Weighing in at 3.6 kg, the stand gives you a reassuringly solid base for your bike, with the locking arm holding it securely in place.

The “E” in the name isn’t just branding – it earns its e-credentials with one clever detail: a side-mounted tray that is designed to hold your ebike charger. With a Velcro strap, standard chargers can be neatly attached to the stand, while magnetic cable holders keep your charging cable off the ground – handy for protecting it from dirt, moisture, or damage.

The RAKK 2.0 E brings several key updates over its predecessors, the original RAKK 1.0 and the RAKK XL. The base has been enlarged to 450 x 525 mm for more stability, and the max load rating has been increased to 37 kg – a welcome upgrade for anyone using the stand for a heavy eMTB or eSUV. However, unlike the 1.0, the new version can no longer be bolted together with other stands to make a modular system.

Tire compatibility has changed too:

  • The original RAKK 1.0 supported tires from 20 mm to 2.4”
  • The RAKK XL was built for tires from 2.3” to 5”
  • The new RAKK 2.0 E now covers everything in between, from 23 mm to 4.5”

In other words,it works with everything from road bikes to fat bikes. If you’re still riding a non-electric bike, you can buy the RAKK 2.0 without the charger tray for € 10 less. Planning to go electric in the future? No problem – the charger holder can be bought as an optional accessory for € 19, and simply clips into place.

The Feedback Sports RAKK 2.0 E ebike stand on test

We tested the stand with several bulky eSUV bikes – and voilà, no issues at all: just roll the bike onto the stand, let go, and you’re done. The preloaded spring in the locking arm pushes the pulley against the tire, holding the bike securely in place.

The Feedback Sports RAKK 2.0 E is compatible with wheel sizes from 20 to 29 inches – covering everything from narrow road bikes to wide eMTB. Even with a 2.6″ MAXXIS Ikon tire mounted on an eSUV, the stand had no issues at all. According to the manufacturer, it supports tire widths of up to 114 mm (4.5″), which theoretically includes fat bikes as well. While we didn’t have a suitable test bike on hand to try this, there’s no reason to doubt that the RAKK 2.0 E can handle those dimensions reliably too.

To accommodate different wheel sizes – and to prevent the pulley from pressing against and damaging mudguards – the locking arm features an adjustable 3-position pulley. Using the included 5 mm Allen key, you can simply loosen the bolt and slide the pulley to the desired position. This makes it easy to secure smaller bikes too, including kids’ and folding-bikes. For very small wheels – with 16-inch rims, for example – there’s also an optional adapter plate available for an additional €6.00, which helps keep them even more securely in place.

At first glance, the integrated charger tray might seem pointless – but it actually helps keep things tidy and visually clean. This is especially useful if you park and charge your bike indoors, where clutter quickly becomes an eyesore.

For transport and longer storage periods, the locking arm can be folded down flat. All you need to do is press a small metal clip on the spring at the bottom of the arm – after that, the locking arm folds down easily. With packed dimensions of 450 × 525 × 115 mm, it’s not ultra-compact, but small enough to stow away discretely when not in use.

The Feedback Sports RAKK 2.0 E is aimed at anyone looking for a hassle-free parking solution for their workshop, home, or garage. It scores with ease of use, wide compatibility, and stable footing. You can even perform minor maintenance tasks on the cockpit or seatpost – the stand is stable enough for that.

An alternative is the DRAGONWORKS MXstyle, which costs only € 10 more and offers not just a parking solution but also supports small maintenance jobs like oiling the chain on ebikes. That said, the RAKK 2.0 E is noticeably easier to use – and comes with a 3-year warranty.

Conclusions about the Feedback Sports RAKK 2.0 E

The Feedback Sports RAKK 2.0 E scores with its ease of use and broad compatibility – whether you ride a folding bike, road bike, or eSUV. Thanks to the stable base and the locking arm, it holds your bike securely and without putting stress on the rims and spokes. At around € 70, it’s not exactly cheap, but still a well-thought-out, visually pleasant solution – a practical way to park and present your bike in style.
