All good things are worth waiting for! As you might know, the lightweight and removable Fazua motor has already impressed us on many occasions and with many different bike concepts. And yet, we expressed our concern about the poor integration and clumsy operability of the bulky handlebar remote. Fazua has now introduced the new fX remote, which is integrated into the frame and designed to provide a number of new features: find all relevant info in Fazua’s press release:
As part of the Fazua Evation product family, The Remote fX is completely integrated into the frame and thus harmonises with the overall concept of the bike. This makes Fazua-powered eBikes look even more elegant and natural. The Remote fX disposes of superfluous cables and displays in the cockpit area, which would otherwise be exposed to impact or get in the way during assembly or maintenance work.
The rider can use the touch-sensitive display to switch intuitively between support levels and thus send all commands to the motor, directly and without any noticeable delay. Five LEDs provide all relevant data on battery charge status and System Health – the rider can read the information quickly and without exposing him/herself to unnecessary risks. Furthermore, an intelligent light sensor adapts the brightness of the LEDs to the external light conditions.
With the Remote fX, Fazua has identified and fixed the flaws of the old, bulky handlebar remote. The new fX remote is neatly integrated into the frame but is unfortunately not backwards-compatible. An upgrade from existing Fazua systems is not possible.
