SCOTT E-Spark

We may have had a little appetizer at EUROBIKE but it wasn’t until this week at Riva when SCOTT formally introduced the new E-Spark. Aside from the visually arresting fully integrated Shimano motor that lends this rig a sophisticated silhouette, it’s obvious that the E-Spark has a lot to offer – check out this exclusive test ride to see our verdict.

E*thirteen trs E-MTB cranks

More ground clearance is a requisite if you’re going to haul ass up the gnarliest steps and ledges on your E-MTB. Fortunately these latest products from E*thirteen look like they’ll offer the solution, as the cranks come in both 170 mm and 160 mm lengths.

THOK MIG

Stepping away from the industry’s main players, this small Italian E-MTB brand known as THOK, which is run by former BMXer and downhiller Stefan Migliorini, offers some enticing alternatives. The weight is kept low on the bike thanks to the positioning of the Shimano motor on the downtube and there’s space for a bottle cage. We got out for a test ride of the THOK MIG down on the shores of Lake Garda so expect a First Ride review coming soon.
