Things are seriously picking up around here: a global think tank on the future of eMTBs with the most influential decision-makers in the scene – CEOs, product managers, and marketing leads. You don’t need to speak Spanish to benefit from our Spanish-language launch!

Vamos, baby! Since 2013, we’ve been doing our best to shake up the eMTB world – in German, in English, and now, we’re taking things one step further: E-MOUNTAINBIKE Magazine is going live in Spanish. As an international magazine, our mission is clear: to shape the world of biking through in-depth comparison tests, trend reports, and inspiring stories. With our new Spanish edition, we want to reach even more riders across the globe – sharing our mindset, our ideas, and our insights to help everyone make the best buying decisions. Because Spanish isn’t just the language of sunshine, love, cañas and tapas – it’s also the language of trail passion and millions of potential readers. And we’re not just looking at Spain, but also at South America and the U.S. We also know the Spanish-speaking world is full of amazing stories that deserve to be told on a global stage – stories that will enrich our magazine and the international bike community alike. While others are busy waging trade wars, we’re bringing people together. A great trail knows no borders. Win-win.

E-MOUNTAINBIKE journalism—made in Germany

Tres cañas, por favor—the beginnings of our magazine are closely tied to Spain. Our founder, Robin Schmitt, developed the magazine app together with a Spanish design studio, lived in Barcelona, and spent years working for the Spanish magazine BIKE before launching E-MOUNTAINBIKE.

Sure, we can order three beers in Spanish—but we can do a whole lot more: like translating our very best content into Spanish with authenticity, critical insight, and honesty. That’s also thanks to the fact that part of our current editorial team calls Spain home.

On top of that, we’ve built a strong network of supporters, friends, and readers in both South America and Spain—many of whom have been following us in English until now.

Ja sicher, yes of course—claro que sí! The entire eMTB boom kicked off in the German-speaking world—and it’s not just where our editorial HQ is based, but also where many of the industry’s key players come from. In that sense, our strong German-Spanish connection is the perfect match: we’re right at the source, with access to exclusive information and behind-the-scenes insights that few magazines on the planet can offer.

We see a huge opportunity in the Spanish-speaking world to reach new readers with our content—powered by a healthy dose of German precision, hands-on lab testing, and in-depth analysis. Add to that our visionary mindset: since 2013, we’ve been the world’s first dedicated e-MTB magazine, actively shaping and following the e-MTB boom from day one.

Full Party Time – Win a Ghost E-RIOT CF Full Party worth € 9,000

To celebrate the launch of our Spanish edition in great style, we threw a spontaneous pre-launch ride party in Barcelona. Around 30 friends, family members, industry insiders, and readers joined us for a Sunday Ride—and absolutely shredded the local trails. But that’s not all: all Spanish-speaking readers who sign up for our new Spanish-language newsletter now have the chance to win a brand-new Ghost E-RIOT CF Full Party worth € 9,000.

The new E-RIOT Full Party is GHOST’s most aggressive, premium-spec’d eMTB yet—and it doesn’t compromise.
With its bold, progressive design and the all-new Bosch CX motor, it’s built for riders who don’t believe in limits and are always chasing the next adventure. Now in its third generation, the bike impresses not just with its looks, but with confident handling and a range of smart technical features.

Sign up for the newsletter now for your chance to win the Ghost E-RIOT Full Party!

Important: If you don’t speak Spanish, this one’s not for you. Signing up without Spanish skills would defeat the purpose of the newsletter—and our algorithms will automatically filter out those entries anyway.

Vamos – so, when does it all kick off?

On April 7th, 2025, we’ll launch our Spanish-language website—complete with major highlights like our big eMTB motor comparison test, tech features, and loads of fresh inspiration.

For now, we won’t be launching separate social media channels. Instead, we’ll continue delivering the hottest content in all languages through our English-language Instagram account @ebike_mtb.

If you’re already subscribed to our newsletter, you know it’s anything but ordinary – packed with insights and high-quality content. That’s exactly why we’re bringing this hugely successful format to Spanish as well!

So, get ready for a fresh wave of Spanish content!

You can sign up for the Spanish newsletter directly below and get the chance to win the new Ghost worth € 9,000! Vamos, baby!
