The Madison Addict Men’s 3-Layer Storm Jacket is a real rugged workhorse, sturdy, rugged with a build quality that would suggest it would survive a meteor strike. The 12,000 mm waterproof rating is ample for days out on the hill, and the high breathable 16,000 g/m² rating ensures you do not boil in the bag. We loved the large chest vents, driving air through the jacket when riding, and the large zippered pockets were perfect for stashing bars. We did not fall in love with the detachable hood, it has great volume but is a bit over engineered and stiff around the neck.
