Gore Power Trail Gore-Tex Active Review

The Gore Power Trail Gore-Tex Active jacket is the definition of beautifully made, each panel, zip, and closure is exceptionally well executed. The Gore-Tex Active fabric is the best in this test and offers superb breathability and waterproofness. The slim fitting athletic fit made us want to ride at XC speeds, and offered enough room in the shoulders for aggressive riding. When the rains came the impressively adjustable hood and soft close-fit collar was both protective and comfortable. We liked the small zippered pockets on the sleeves and the large chest pocket is spacious enough for a map. However, as breathable as Gore-tex Active is, we still missed vents on long, hot climbs.

The Gore Power Trail Gore-Tex Active jacket is a beautifully made jacket, offering impressive protection against the elements in a super stylish and fitted package. Only the lack of vents excluded it from the win.
