Conclusion

All of the pumps on test are capable at pumping up your tires sufficiently – but there’s a lot of hot air between the quality of their production, their performance and how easy they are to use. For us, the lovely Crankbrothers Sterling L stole our hearts, but the Leyzne Alle Drive was hot on its heels, boasting a similar performance and quality. This is more a question of taste, and whether you prefer an external hose or not. Lighter and more compact than the rest of the test fleet, the Topeak Race Rocket MT delivers a really good performance, which renders it an interesting alternative to the two top dogs. However, if weight and size aren’t a priority, then the Leyzne Micro Floor Drive HV is nigh on unbeatable.
