The All Mountain 2 WP is crafted with a robust, three-layered, watertight fabric with completely bonded seams and a watertight front zip. The hood is generously sized so should fit over the majority of helmets on the market. There’s an adjustable strap of elastic in the hood so you can adjust the tightness of it around your face, which is particularly welcome when there’s driving rain and a headwind. The same applies to the well-proportioned drop tail at the rear that gives vital protection.

The drop tail design on this bad-weather jacket is great for riding.

There’s a band of elastic around the edge of the generously sized hood so you can tighten it to suit the conditions and amount of your face exposed to the elements.

There’s a vent encircling the hood for ventilation.

The Alpinestars All Mountain 2 WP jacket has two zipped outer pockets and a Velcro tightener on the wrist.

There are big air vents under the arms that are easy to open.

There’s a watertight forearm pocket that fits things the size of an Apple iPhone 5.

Hardwearing and capable of facing the elements, the durable and high quality Alpinestars All Mountain 2 WP has a ton of well-chosen design features and a hood that comfortably fits over a helmet. As the watertight membrane on the jacket is fairly stiff, we’d suggest that this jacket is better suited for gravity-style riding rather than trail riding.
