Moustache Samedi Trail and Samedi Race – Improvements in the details

The highlight for the coming season: the Moustache Samedi Race 11 with an elegant carbon frame and stylish carbon wheels. The price: € 8,599.

Just a year ago Moustache extensively revised their entire E-MTB line – and bagged the Design & Innovation Award with the Hidden Power Technology of their Samedi Trail-bike. They also managed to take home some awesome test results and reviews. Now that most manufacturers rely on Bosch’s Powertube battery-integration, the French stick to their system that features a hidden PowerPack. The advantages in their opinion? A lower centre of gravity, less stress on the frame in the headtube-area and the possibility of producing smaller frames. Aesthetically the bike hasn’t changed much. Thanks to a number of spec updates the Moustache will be even better in the 2018 season. But their E-MTB specific suspension system is the highlight. A specifically designed rebound-damping is said to increase traction noticeably, especially on climbs. Moustache also presented new wheels (now also in carbon) and an updated version of their dropper post. Female riders will also find a number of women-specific bikes with specially adapted contact points for more riding fun.
