French E-Bike Series supported by MOUSTACHE bikes
A new French e-bike series is included into 5 established races. The e-bike manufacturer Moustache Bikes wants to push on the scene and create new race formats for electrically supported bikes. All details from the organizers:
Following the encountering of Emmanuel Antonot and Gregory Sand, Moustache Bikes was created in 2010. Nowadays, this Vosgienne company decide to bet on the competition in order to grow and popularize the e-bike practice. Competition is, in every sector, a powerful engine for development. It allows to showcase all the athletic and technologic dimensions of the E-bikes, new specific biking discipline.
Intention
“For us, to support the competition is a way to show the potential of such bikes and also their versatility of usage. Whether it is going to work on wednesday, go meet some friends on the friday, cruise around or simply go for a ride or to race your bike at the weekend …”
The Series
Electro Bike Lyon 16th April
1st venue of this brand new race series. Named Mountain Boost, this introduction will be done on an original race course right in the heart of the city, enhancing the abilities of your machines and its autonomy on a 2 endurance race course.
Transvésubienne Nice 14th – 15th May
One of the best occasion to enjoy your E-mtb with friends, and prove to the others that the E-bike is not a Lazy Sport! Indeed, you will have to deal with you battery autonomy … So everybody will have to be ready and trained to face this challenge even with a E-bike!
Electro Bike Auron 2nd- 3rd July
Added to the third edition of the E-bike exhibition, this race lay in its home place.
Mégavalanche Alpe d’Huez 9th July
A 3330 meters high start on the glacier and a finish line located 2600m down will surely convince you that those E-bikes are as playful in the downhills than powerful on the pedal sections.
Maxiavalanche Cervinia 30th-31th July
Staying in the Mégavalanche spirit, this Italian final race offers you the perfect occasion to put the « Watts » down thus at the bottom of the Cervin on a downhill oriented trail with a feet in the snow starting!
All events organized by UCC are as many opportunities as to generate and raise interest thanks to the test bikes that we make available on each venues. The only way to make its own idea, and to discover sensations that often goea beyond your early expectations.
