Before EUROBIKE the ROTWILD team was pretty busy once again: since we looked at the motorised version of the new R.X+ two months ago, a few things have changed on the bike. Here you can read details of what the final bike will be like when it is launched at the start of next year.

Das ROTWILD R.X+ für 2016 – 140 mm Federweg bietet das FOX-Fahrwerk und mit breiten Felgen und Boost-Standard ist es bereit für alles. Ab Werk kommen alle Modelle mit 2,4"-Reifen – so kann jeder selbst entscheiden, ob er auf Plus-Reifen umrüsten möchte. Der Preis der hier abgebildeten EVO-Version beläuft sich auf 6.999 €.

Dank der 30 mm breiten Felgen und Boost-Standard an der Federgabel und am Heck sowie drehbarer Achsaufnahme können direkt Plus-Reifen montiert werden – ohne Teile ersetzen zu müssen.
Thanks to the 30mm wide rims and Boost standard on the fork and rear as well as the switchable axle mount Plus tires can be used without having to replace parts.

The most important update on the ROTWILD R-X+: the FOX-suspension now provides 140mm of travel in each of the three spec versions. The idea of future-proofing and universality has not been changed. Forks with Boost width are used, the rear end is made to the same standard and offers 2 positions for the rear axle-a short one for normal sized tires and to allow maximum agility with short chainstays, and a second one further back to create space for fatter Plus tires or increased stability with normal tires. The bike comes with 2.4” tires as standard, but the 30mm wide rims give you the option to switch immediately to Plus tires-and back if you want.

… und verfügen über einen FOX-Dämpfer mit EVOL-Luftkammer.
… and use a FOX-shock with EVOL-air chamber.
Über den Steuersatz lässt sich die Geometrie des Bikes zusätzlich an die persönlichen Vorlieben anpassen.
The geometry of the bike can also be matched to personal preferences via the headset.

The new ROTWILD R.X+ will come in three different specifications and four sizes at prices between 5999 and 8999 €. The EVO-version pictured here costs 6999 €.

Ebenfalls bald verfügbar: der Range Extender, der mit zusätzlichen 240 Wh Kapazität die Reichweite deutlich vergrößert. Er ist nicht für den Direktbetrieb geeignet, sondern dient zum Aufladen der IPU unterwegs.
Also available soon: the Range Extender, which increases range considerably with its extra 240 Wh capacity. It isn’t for direct drive but for recharging the IPU when out and about.
