The BIKE Festival Riva never fails to get the season off to a thriving start, and this year’s edition catered even more generously to E-MTBers than ever before. We headed down to the shores of Lake Garda to check out the most exciting new entrants at the trade fair.

ROSE ELEC TEC FS

Until now, Germany’s Bocholt-based direct order company ROSE have been content with just one hardtail in the E-MTB scene, but Riva saw them unveil a prototype of their soon-to-be-launched ELEC TEC FS. Set to drop in late summer, it looks like it’ll sport a Continental motor and a huge 612 Wh battery with a retail price around € 4,500.

Mondraker e-Crusher Carbon

What a machine! This Mondraker e-Crusher Carbon and its integrated Shimano motor surely counts as one of THE e-bike highlights here in Riva. There’s a fully integrated Shimano motor inside this stunning carbon frame and the whole bike has seriously well-considered componentry. For the full run-down, stay tuned for our upcoming article on the Mondraker e-Crusher Carbon.

Bosch eMTB mode

The most exciting drop in Riva was actually not visible to the human eye as it came via a software update for any rider with a Bosch CX motor. The all-new eMTB mode adapts on-the-fly to the power put in by the rider, thereby eliminating the need to manually adjust the level of pedal-assist. We’ve tested the new eMTB motor and compiled our thoughts of this new Bosch update right here.
