Orange Alpine 6E

The Orange Alpine 6E is big, loud and aggressive, and is claimed to rip!

When traditional UK brand Orange Bikes said they had a new bike, nobody was expecting it to be a hard hitting, 170/160 mm E-MTB. The new Alpine 6E is a wolf in wolf’s clothing, burly and aggressive, the bike will be available in two specifications and only 50 of each will be made in the UK. The top-of-the-line £7500 (€ TBA) LE model features a full Shimano XT Di2 drivetrain, Boost 148 rear hub spacing, and a full Hope finishing kit, including stem, PRO4 hubs, Tech 3 / E4 brakes and 27.5” Stans Flow rims. A more affordable £6200 specification will also be available with a mechanical Shimano XT drivetrain and some small revisions to the specification. Boasting exactly the same geometry as the Alpine 6 with a 64.5° head angle, 74° seat angle and generous 481 mm reach in size large. The high front pivot of the Alpine frame mean that Orange could incorporate the Shimano E8000 motor and battery without any changes to the 430 mm chainstay length. The big hitting bike has already been causing quite a stir at demo events all over the UK. We will have one on test very soon.

The high front pivot has allowed Orange to squeeze in a E8000 motor without any changes to the chainstays.
The LE spec model features many Hope components.
