Fox Head Downpour Pro Jacket Review
Rather than focusing on big mountain protection, Fox Head have tailored the fit and design of the Downpour Pro jacket for fast trail missions. The jacket is fully seam sealed, but we found the 10,000 mm waterproof rating does not stay dry during a full day of rain, but is perfect for a 1-2 hour afterwork shred. The 3L Trumotion 4-way stretch fabric is amazing, soft, super comfortable and offering a huge freedom of movement. Staying true to the hardcore target market the Downpour features Cordura panels on the arms in case you take a stupid line and has withstood crashes well. It’s not the most breathable material and we found we used the large front vents frequently to keep the air flowing.
The Fox Head Downpour is the perfect jacket for someone looking for a super comfortable jacket for fast woods laps. Without a hood it’s better on home trails than big mountain epics.
